As March the 6th is a day dedicated to the legendary woman Melina Mercouri, you will enjoy free entrance to all Museums and archaeological sites, including Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum (don’t forget to visit the -1 floor)!

The Greek Culture Ministry has dedicated 2020 to Melina Mercouri in order to commemorate 100 years since her birth and 26 years since her death.

The Athens Philharmonic Orchestra introduces a variety programme with songs that were composed by people that lived in the historical Pagkrati area.

In March, SNFCC’s collaboration with Goethe-Institut Athen, in view of the 100-year anniversary of the Bauhaus School, continues through talks and art workshops for children and adults.

“Bauhaus at 100” explores the legacy of the 20th century’s most iconic art & design school in the fields of architecture, industrial design, the arts, dance and education. Dr. Eva von Engelberg, professor of the Ηistory of Αrchitecture at Universität Siegen, will highlight all these aspects during her talk “Bauhaus at 100: Historicizing Old Towns as Acts of Provocation” at the SNFCC. The talk will be conducted in German, with real-time translation into Greek and Greek Sign Language.

Thursdays: open 11.00-22.00
