Dual-brand Hotels
Meaning
A property that incorporates two hotels, each one of them operating on its own, but share economies of scale deriving from the sharing of resources such as back-of-house operations. Usually, dual-brand hotels will be two hotels that appeal to different target markets, operating under one parent company. Over the last years, dual-branded properties were quite popular amongst businesses as they allow management to achieve operating efficiencies due to shared labor, services, management and facilities.
